About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At Four Strings Academy, we believe music is a universal language that belongs to everyone. Our mission is to provide a nurturing space where musicians of all ages and backgrounds can grow, regardless of socioeconomic status, skill level, or musical style. With classical training at the heart of our program, we open doors to a wide spectrum of musical experiences.
Our students explore an extensive repertoire—from American band music to jazz, blues to hip-hop, musical theater to modern music production—while building a strong classical foundation. This approach not only strengthens their technical abilities but also encourages creativity, self-discipline, and the discovery of their own unique artistic voices.
Whether preparing for a career in the competitive world of professional music or simply developing a lifelong love for the arts, our students gain the skills, confidence, and appreciation needed to thrive. At Four Strings Academy, we are more than a music school—we are a community that inspires, challenges, and celebrates every student’s journey.
Our Story
Four Strings Academy was born from a vision: to make classical music education accessible, inspiring, and transformative for all.
Founded by award-winning violinist and educator Mariana Green-Hill, the Academy began as a small program with a big dream—to provide students of all ages and backgrounds the chance to experience the power of music in a nurturing, disciplined, and creative environment. From its earliest days, the Academy has welcomed students regardless of socioeconomic status, skill level, or prior training, guided by the belief that music is for everyone.
Over the years, Four Strings Academy has grown into a vibrant community of students, families, and educators. Our faculty includes world-class musicians, performers, and cultural leaders who not only share their expertise but also mentor and inspire the next generation. Together, they weave a rich musical journey where classical foundations meet diverse traditions—from jazz and blues to gospel, hip-hop, and music production.
What began as a dream has become a thriving hub for learning, performance, and artistic exploration. Today, Four Strings Academy continues to expand its reach, shaping students into not only skilled musicians but also confident individuals, creative thinkers, and lifelong advocates for the arts.
Our story is still unfolding—with every note played, every lesson learned, and every student who discovers their unique voice through
